This page is dedicated to my collection of Apple Clones.
There have been many Apple clone makers since the Franklin Apple ][ clone. I have somehow begun a collection of clones and try to concentrate on the PowerComputing machines which I think were the best.
Some SuperMac S900 owners may dispute the PowerTower Pro's status as #1 Kick Ass Mac clone but I'll argue that point anyday.

Power Tower Pro 250
The PowerComputing PowerTower Pro 250, based on the Tsunami architecture, features a 250 MHz PowerPC 604e processor, 32 MB or 128 MB of RAM, a 2.0 GB or 4.0 GB hard drive, and an 8 MB IMS 128-bit video card in an industry-standard tower case. This model can be upgraded to dual processors.
This was my first Mac, well Mac clone.....
Bought it in September 1997 for 2,700.00 which was $1,000.00 less than the comparible Macintosh 9500. The Pro is still in service as a file server and back-up computer.
